Chef Ryan Lancaster, Has been in the food service industry for over 15 years with 8 spent in the kitchen. He has run the gamut of managing kitchens and wait staff, through his current status as G.M./Head Chef.
Ryan’s history includes his time as the sous chef at Giuseppe’s Italian Bistro in Meridian, Thomas Cuisine management in Washington Group Café, Head chef at The Dish and Square. Ryan owns his own catering company named Flavors Catering with over 8 years of catering experience working for himself. Ryan also cunsults for other small catering companies in the Treasure Valley.
Chef Lancaster is not the type to offer ritz crackers and veggie trey from Costco for your very special occasion.
Chef lancaster had this to say when recently asked, "what type of caterings are being booked in Boise and the surrounding areas for July 2009?" Chef Lancaster had this to say.
We currently have caterings for executive meetings this week at BODO and have another wedding this weekend scheduled for St. Chepelle Winery. So you can see the diversity in venues which keeps things very interesting. "
When chef Lancaster was asked, "do you find is difficult to find fresh produce for your truly unique recipes?" Chef Lancaster had this to say.
"I really enjoy living in a agricultural state such as Idaho. At times the study of the culinary art naturally leads many Chef's to botanical gardening. Living in Idaho is a blessing as we have a wide variety of organic fruits and vegetables and great produce markets redily available. Getting quality produce ultimatley leads to that wow factor when completing a dish!"
